Department of youth, spirituality and education
Today, spirituality is one of the main issues of our social life. Since the first days of independence, special attention has been paid to this issue. Although such areas as morality, elegance, spirituality, idea, ideology, culture and education, which form the basis of spirituality, have been studied since ancient times, many could not correctly imagine the need to turn this large-scale concept into a system of separate and special educational disciplines.
We are mobilizing all our forces and capabilities to ensure that our people live as well as anyone in the world, that our children are stronger, more educated, wiser and, of course, happy, and the issue of spiritual education is undoubtedly of invaluable importance in this matter. If we lose vigilance and sensitivity, determination and responsibility in this matter, throw this important work into our state, into self-esteem, lose spirituality, historical memory, embedded in our sacred values, eventually depart from the path to universal development, to which we aspire.
The decree of the Head of our state Shavkat Mirziyoyev “on improving the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work and increasing the development of the industry to a new level” of July 28, 2017, was the basis for radically improving the content of spiritual and educational work, expanding its scope, coordinating the work of institutions and organizations operating in the field. As you know, in all spheres, special attention is paid to the further development of the spiritual potential of young people. The development of this sphere is evidenced by the introduction of Vice-rectors for spiritual and educational work, responsible executives in educational institutions.
In Tashkent pharmaceutical Institute in December of 1996 created the public center “Manaviyat va Marifat” Professor I. K. Azizov was appointed the first Vice-rector for spiritual and educational work of the Institute. After that, associate Professor O.A.Akhmedov (1997-1999), Professor H.M.Kamilov (1999) was appointed to this post. During this period, the teaching staff of the Institute has done a lot of work among students.
From December 29, 1999 to 2009, associate Professor N. K. Olimov acted as the 1st Vice – rector for spiritual and educational work at the Institute. During 2009-2010 Dean of the faculty of industrial pharmacy associate Professor A. A. Nurmukhamedov, 2010-2014 associate Professor K. A. Chulpanov. From 2014 to 2018 he held the position of Vice – rector for spiritual and educational work O. I. Khudoyberdiev and from 2019 to the present Vice-rector for educational and educational work Z. A. Yuldashev. The Institute has a center of spirituality, spiritual and educational events, propaganda events, various art evenings, competitions. Now in this Department N. H. Ashurova-the head of Department, F. Z. mannapova, N. Kamalova-Methodists, N. L. Usmanova-the press Secretary, N. E. Yusupova-the educator-the teacher and N. S. Salimsakova works as the Chairman of “Council of mentors”. The Department cooperates with the “Council of mentors” of the Institute during its activity. Chairman of the “Council of mentors” senior lecturer of the Department of social Sciences N. S. Salimsakova, senior lecturer of the Department of “Industrial pharmacy” sh. B. Matyusupova, senior lecturer of the Department of the faculty of “Pharmacy” T. mirrakhimova.
The Institute has a Museum of the Institute. Headed By Sh. Spiritual and educational work is organized with the implementation of the decrees and orders of the President of the Republic, the orders of the Ministry of higher and secondary special education, the Ministry of health. The legislative chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the state security service, the Committee on religious Affairs, the Ministry of higher and secondary special education, the Ministry of culture and sports, the Ministry of Health, the Department of internal Affairs of the city of Tashkent and other organizations are partners in the organization of spiritual and educational work. Regular cooperation has been established with the Committee on youth Affairs and the Committee of women of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, the Council of “mentors” in the formation of a sense of patriotism in the minds of young people. Spiritual and educational work is organized on the basis of approved plans, which, based on the tasks and directions, develop and implement programs of measures to further strengthen the educational and spiritual and educational work aimed at ensuring the vital interests of the young generation, material and moral support for professional skills and spiritual growth of students, meaningful conduct of their free time. As a result of the spiritual and educational work carried out at the Institute, the legal, political and environmental culture of the teaching staff and students increases. At the Institute, the Department and the “Council of mentors“ hold monthly events ”Day of spirituality”. Students led by mentors organize visits to the sights, historical sights, museums of the city, built in the years of independence. Also among the students will be held charity events, “KVN”, theater Studio, as well as various thematic performances and competitions. This academic year, 3 of our students took 1, 2 places in the competition of essays and articles among Universities.
In addition, in order to form the legal literacy of students, together with the police Department of Tashkent, the police Department of Mirabad district, the Prosecutor’s office of Mirabad district, Tashkent state law University, propaganda work is carried out. In order to develop students sense of charity, tolerance and mutual respect among themselves, in order to obtain information from the residents who live in the communities “Tong Yulduzi”, “Uzbekistan”, “Railroad” attached to the leadership of the Institute of Mirabad district, survivors who live in the communities “Tong Yulduzi”, “Uzbekistan”, “Тemiryolchilar” and students “House of mercy”, is located in the city of Tashkent, “You are not alone!” , “Tolerance of feelings of mercy”, “Generosity, within such slogans as” Tolerance is a quality inherent in the Uzbek people”, spiritual and educational events are held. Such events contributed to the formation of students ‘ feelings such as gratitude, tolerance.
