Scientific activities

In cooperation with the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ibn Sino Public Foundation, on May 22, 2020, the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Abu Ali Ibn Sino and Innovations in Modern Pharmaceuticals” was held.

 

In collaboration with the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ibn Sino Public Fund on May 22, 2020 at 10:00, the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Abu Ali Ibn Sino and Innovations in Modern Pharmacy” carried out its activities online through the ZOOM program. The conference was opened by Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation N.S. Normahamatov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Z.A. Yuldashev and Chairman of the Board of the Public Fund “Ibn Sino” N. Makhmudov. After that, the specialist of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry Sh.R. Abzalov continued with a report on the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 10, 2020 No. PP-4670 “On measures for the protection, cultivation, processing of wild medicinal plants and the rational use of available resources”.

     

     

The conference was devoted to the following research areas:

✅ Contribution of the scientific heritage of Ibn Sina and medieval oriental scholars to the formation of pharmacy.

✅ Development of innovative drugs, cosmetics and dietary supplements, ensuring their quality.

✅ Standardization of drugs, pharmaceutical and toxicological chemical analysis.

✅ Prospects for the study of medicinal plant materials and the creation of herbal remedies.

✅Natural and synthetic compounds, pharmacological studies of drugs.

✅ Pharmacoeconomics at the stages of the creation, sale and use of drugs.

✅ Pharmaceutical biotechnology, biotechnology of medicinal plants. Nanotechnology in the pharmaceutical industry.

✅ Theory and practice of teaching “Technology of medicines” and “Biotechnology”.

The conference was organized using the capabilities of automatic digital identification of the registration process of participants, issuing certificates to them.

Doctoral students and independent researchers were monitored

In order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 22, 2017 No. 304 “On measures for further improvement of the system of postgraduate education”, basic doctoral students, doctoral students and independent candidates for 1,2,3 courses of the Institute are monitored. Vice-Rector for research and innovation N.Normahamatov and Head of the department of scientific research, innovation and training of the pedagogical personnel M.T.Mullajonova monitored, each basic doctoral students, doctoral students and independent applicant were interviewed in detail about their research activities, published articles and expected results.

     

 

А monitoring at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute on the effectiveness of basic doctoral candidate  (Phd) and doctor degrees (DSc) in higher educational institutions.

It was Approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 304 on May 22, 2017 “On measures to further improve the system of postgraduate education.” In accordance with paragraph 52 of the Charter,  was conducted  a monitoring at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute on the effectiveness of basic doctoral candidate  (Phd) and doctor degrees (DSc) in higher educational institutions. The monitoring was held by the rector of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, Professor I. I. Alimdzhanov, and M. T. Mullajonova the head of the department of scientific research, innovative and scientific-pedagogical personnel. Each of the doctoral candidate (PhD) and Ph.D. (DSc) were interviewed personally about their research activities, published articles and expected results.

 

“Further expansion of international cooperation and exchange of experience with Karaganda State Medical University”

 Under the leadership of the department of research, innovation and training of scientific and pedagogical staff  and professors of the department of technology of medicinal forms, a scientific seminar was held with the professor of Karaganda State Medical University Abdullabekova  Raisa  Musilmanbekovna. At the seminar, they gave a lecture on the theme “Development of the composition and technology of topical dosage forms based on carbon dioxide extract from the herbs Scoliosa ochroleuca L.”.  In addition, she told doctoral students about the scientific work of Karaganda State Medical University. Graduate students were asked questions on their research areas Raisa Musilmanbekovna Abdullabekova.

     

     

 

«The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population»

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-2909 dated April 20, 2017, the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute conducts focused work on the establishment of promising partnerships with leading specialized foreign scientific and educational institutions.

So, on May 17-23 of this year, a group of employees of the institute – head. Department of Pharmacognosy, prof. F.F.Urmanova, head. Department of technology of medicinal forms, prof. E.S.Karieva and the head of the department for the preparation of scientific, innovative and scientific-pedagogical personnel, Assoc. MT Mullajonova was on a business trip to Nanchang in the People’s Republic of China, where they took part in the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the University of Chinese Traditional Medicine Jiangxi.

During this period, a meeting was also held with the leadership of the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine where there was a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of education and science, and a roadmap for its implementation was discussed and signed. Representatives of our institute also familiarized themselves with the activities of the university’s pharmaceutical faculty, discussed with the Chinese side real steps to implement bilateral cooperation, familiarized themselves with the curriculum of the pharmaceutical faculty, the educational process and scientific work, and visited the museum of traditional Chinese medicine.

     

     

     

     

     

 

“Qualified ekzamen”

Doctors and independent researchers at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, based on specializations DSc.27.06.2017. Far.32.01 Academic Council, passed the qualification examinations in the specialty. Qualification exams for special disciplines were organized by the Decree of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan of  February 2016 “On the procedure for qualifying examinations” and on June 27, 2017 “On introducing changes to the Regulation on qualification examinations.”

     

 

At the “School of doctoral students” at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, the performance of applicants for basic doctoral (Phd), doctoral degrees (DSc) and independent researchers in higher education institutions was monitored.

In order to implement the Regulation on quarterly monitoring of the implementation of the plan of individual requirements approved by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 572 dated June 26, 2019 and Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 22, 2017 No. 304 “On measures to further improve the system of postgraduate education “In accordance with paragraph 52 of the Regulation, the activities of doctoral students (PhD), doctoral students (DSc) and independent researchers studying in the School of octorants ”at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. Monitoring was carried out by the rector of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, professor I.A. Alimjanov, vice-rector for science and innovation, Dr. N.S. Normakhamatov, as well as the head of the department of scientific research, innovation and training of scientific and pedagogical personnel M.T. Mullajonova. Doctoral students (PhD), (DSc) and independent researchers were individually interviewed, their research plans, published articles, and expected results were discussed.
