Visit of the staff of the Institute of Chemical Physics of Lanzhou Academy of Sciences of China to the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute
On October 31, 2019, at the initiative of the Department of Organic and Biological Chemistry, the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute was visited by employees of the Laboratory of Plant Chemistry of the Institute of Chemical Physics of Lanzhou Academy of Sciences of China – PhD, Professor Jun-Li Yang and Assistant Xiaobo Zhao. Under the leadership of the vice-rector for scientific work N. Normakhamatov with the participation of teachers from the departments of organic and biological chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, pharmacology, medical and biological sciences, a meeting was held. During the meeting, reports were delivered by Professor Jong-Lee Yang on the topic “New Drug Discovery from Natural Products”, assistant Xiaobo Zhao “Target Delivery and Real-Time Imaging Tracking of Natural Bioactive Compounds”. The teachers of the institute asked a number of questions to which answers were received. The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere.
