It also cooperates with foreign higher educational institutions in the training of qualified pharmaceutical staff at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. In 2003 the International Cooperation Office was established to further develop international relations at the Institute. Prior to the establishment of the International Cooperation Office, the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute was one of the first in the reforming of the pharmaceutical education of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the first days of independence.
Over the past six years, Toshpharmi has participated in a special project of the EuroWHO Regional Office in the field of pharmaceutical education reforming among the CIS countries. According to WHO experts, in the successful implementation of the project, ToshFarmI has a key role, in particular, in line with the requirements of the healthcare system, with a view to ensuring the safe use and effective use of drugs, was one of the first to introduce the subjects into the educational process. The Institute pays special attention to the development of international relations.
The Department of International Relations of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute directly reports to the rector of the Institute.
