The Charter of the Contest of Creative Articles at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute on the themes: “Education against ignorance”, “How do I understand the threat of religious extremism and terrorism?”
I.General rules
1.1. This competition was organized by the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan I. Majidov and the Chairman of the Central Council of the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan G.Kuranboyev, signed on December 28, 2017 “On the tasks outlined in paragraph 21 of the Program of Additional Measures for the Implementation of Youth Policy in 2018” and for the execution of Resolution No. 350 by the Ministry of Education of April 18, 2018 of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
1.2. Students of the institute participate in the contest on the topic: “Education against ignorance” and “How I understand the threat of religious extremism and terrorism” with their creative work.
The competition is held in the direction of “Best Article”.
The process of organizing and holding the organizational stages of the contest is carried out by the Spiritual and Educational Department of the Institute.
II. The purpose and objectives of the competition
The main objective of the competition is to ensure the stability of the socio-political situation among young people, to prevent their entry into various extremist movements, practical measures aimed at educating youth in the spirit of patriotism, spirituality and enlightenment. To raise the efficiency of work, to educate our youth in all respects healthy and harmonious, to create conditions for their talent and to support talented youth.
The objectives of the competition are:
– ensuring the stability of the social and political situation among young people, preventing their joining to various extremist movements;
– increase the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work and practical measures aimed at educating students in the spirit of patriotism and patriotism;
– educate our young people in all respects healthy and harmonious, create conditions for their talent and develop talented youth;
– formation of strong immunity for youth in external influences;
– increase the content and significance of the program of measures;
– education of the younger generation as a highly educated, intellectual potential, education, loyalty to the Motherland;
– to inform the general public about the creativity of students on the topic “How can I understand the threat of religious extremism and terrorism?” and “Education against illiteracy”
III.Stages and terms of the competition
3.1. The competition is held in three stages.
The first stage is held among students of academic groups of the Institute in the last ten days of April.
The second stage will be held at the faculties of the Institute on the first day of May this year.
The third stage (final) – winners of higher educational institutions of the republic will be held in the third decade of June.
IV.Organization and holding of the competition.
4.1. The first and second stages of the competition will be formed from representatives of the Working Group and professors, teachers, scientists, sector specialists on the orders of the Rector of the Institute
Creative works prepared by students are evaluated by a jury consisting of faculties and institute on the conditions and criteria of the competition.
Organization and holding of the third stage of the tender is carried out by the Organizing Committee of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education. The jury will be formed to determine the winners of the final stage of the competition. Highly qualified specialists and professors work in the staff.
V.Conditions and assessment criteria
5.1 The competition will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
– The essence and meaning of the subject are fully explained;
– Stylistic and grammatical correct spelling of creative works;
– the degree of use of literature and analytical approaches in the coverage of the topic;
– expression of the nature of the topic;
– extensive use of vital examples in covering topics;
– Proposals on topical issues and their solutions.
5.2. Each criterion will be evaluated on a 10-point scale (only 60 points) and will be written in writing by students.
VI.Order of documents submission
6.1. Documents of the winners of the 1 st and 2 nd place in the Institute, (Application and decision of the institution, creative materials of the winner and 1 photo 10 × 15) to the committee until May 25, 2018, 2 copies in the electronic version (tel .: 246-28- 63, e-mail: mm.markaz@edu.uz). Articles by e-mail are not accepted.
6.2. Competitive articles (in Uzbek or Russian) in the computer program Word, Times New Roman – 1 interval, 30 mm left, 15 mm on the right, up to 20 mm and should be in scientific, technical and stylistic publications. In the 1st version of the written material, a full description of the place, faculty, course and direction of the students’ training, 2nd place, place of study, faculty, course and direction of training is shown.
VII.Winner’s reward
7.1. At the first and second stages of the competition, students who took high places (1-, 2-, 3-), are encouraged by the Institute. The creative work of students (1-, 2-, 3-) is described on the official website of the Institute.
7.2. At the second stage of the competition, students who take first place (1-, 2-, 3-) receive an honorary sign of the institute and the next amount of money.
Works on the topics “How do I understand the threat of religious extremism and terrorism?”
1 st place – 1 500 000 (one million five hundred thousand) soums;
2 nd place – 1.200.000 (one million two hundred thousand) soums;
3rd place – 1.000.000 (one million) soums.
Creative works on the theme “Education against ignorance”
1 st place – 1 500 000 (one million five hundred thousand) soums;
2 nd place – 1.200.000 (one million two hundred thousand) soums;
3rd place – 1.000.000 (one million) soums.
7.3. The students who took the first place (1-, 2-, 3-) at the third stage of the competition will receive honorary certificates from the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education. In addition, the best works of students are covered in the newspapers and magazines of the republic and are published in a separate form.
