The educational-methodical department is one of the main structures of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, reports to the rector of the institute and is managed by the vice-rector for education.

The educational-methodical department carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law on Education, the National Program for Personnel Training, Resolutions of the Chambers of the Oliy Majlis, decrees, decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers, orders, directions and decrees Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders of the rector, instructions on rector, the provisions of the Charter of the institute.

The educational and methodological activities of the institute are organized in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for the further development of the higher education system” dated April 20, 2017 №DP-2909, №DP-2956 dated May 5, 2017 “On measures to further reform the healthcare system in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, № DP-3151 dated July 27, 2017 “On measures to further expand the participation of industries and sectors in improving the quality of higher education specialists”, Resolution “On additional measures for the accelerated development of the pharmaceutical industry” dated February 14, 2018

Currently, the teaching department is headed by Nodira Akmalevna Abzalova.

For the effective organization of the educational process, the department has the following tasks:

Ensuring the implementation of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Education, Presidential Decrees, Cabinet Decrees, Decrees of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, as well as orders of the rector, participation in bringing content to departments, teachers and students;
Monitoring and coordination of the implementation of decisions of the Institute Council, Central Methodological Council, Councils of faculties on the organization and quality assurance of the educational process;
Preparation of information and draft orders for educational and methodical work for the Council of the Institute, meetings of the administration, the Central Methodological Council;
High-quality organization of the educational process, methodological support and improvement of educational work;
Ensuring the correct preparation of regulatory documents on the educational process and their full implementation in the educational process;
Improving the curriculum in accordance with state educational standards, providing practical assistance to relevant higher education institutions;
Preparation of curricula, work plans and training schedules in educational areas;
Educational and methodical work on the curriculum and educational work programs of the institute;
Schedule the educational process for the school year;
Organization of lectures and training sessions in accordance with the established training schedule and curricula;
Ensuring and monitoring the proper use of departments, classrooms and lecture halls inside and outside the institute;
Monitoring the provision of academic disciplines with modern educational literature;
Formation of the contingent of teachers and development of retraining and advanced training plans on the basis of PCM No. 797 of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures to further improve the system of advanced training of heads and teachers of higher educational institutions” of September 23, 2019;
Ensuring the implementation of educational and methodical work according to the individual plan of the teacher;
Definition and calculation of the hourly load of teachers and the organization of their teaching and learning activities;
Monitoring the distribution of teaching loads of the teaching staff (internal and external part-time workers), as well as an analysis of their implementation;
Preparation of applications for regulatory documents: journals for lectures, practical exercises and qualification practice, training forms, etc.
Preparation of proposals for the development of the material and technical base of the educational process;
Conducting seminars, consultations on the implementation of modern information and computer technologies and new pedagogical technologies in the educational process.
