History of the department
The pharmaceutical business organization course was established in 1939 and was called “Pharmaceutical Work Organization and Pharmacy History.” Until 1957, this course was part of various departments, including the department of technology of drugs up to 1951, the department of forensic chemistry in 1951-1955, and in the composition of the medical commodity course in 1956-1957.
Until 1958 he was the head of the Pharmaceutical Business Department, and was supervised by L.M/ Krutik, M.L.Frimerman, A.D.Itskovich, Professor G.Yo.Kogand in 1942-1944. On February 3-7, 1958, in accordance with the Decision of the Plenum of the Scientific Association of the Scientific Society of the United Nations in Moscow, the Pharmaceutical Work Organization of the Institute was renamed to the Department of Pharmaceutical Work and Economics. The rector of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute was appointed as the head of E.R.Toshmuhamedov by order № 594. Thus, the Department of Pharmaceutical Work and Economics was established in September 1958 as a separate independent department.

Professor Toshmuhamedov Erkin Rakhimovich – born in Tashkent on February 15, 1930, entered the Tashkent pharmaceutical institute after successful completion of Uzbek, secondary school in 1948 with a gold medal. E.Tashmuhamedov graduated from Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute in 1952 with a diploma with honors. In November, 1953 entered the postgraduate course on the organization of pharmaceutical business, functioning in the department of pharmaceutical types of the Tashkent pharmaceutical institute. The director of the institute, docent Nishon Rakhimovich Rakhimov, has been ordered to pass post graduate course at the Moscow Pharmaceutical Institute. Therefore, according to the Decree of the Ministry of Health of November 16, 1953, the post-graduate course was postponed to the Moscow Institute of Pharmacy. In 1956, he graduated from the postgraduate study and began his career as an assistant to the Institute of Pharmaceutical Work and Economics of the Institute. In September 1957, he began his career as a senior lecturer. In 1958 the Department of the organization and economy of pharmaceutical business was established and the head was appointed to the position of RTTashmuhamedov.
E.Tashmuhamedov successfully defended his candidate dissertation on December 12, 1960 at the Scientific Council of the Moscow Pharmaceutical Institute on the theme “Methods of improving the drug supply of the population of Uzbekistan”. In June 1962, he was appointed to the post of the head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Work and Economics. In 1963 he was awarded the title of associate professor.

E.R. In October 1967, Tashmukhamedov worked in Pyatigorsk together with the First Pharmacists I Congress delegates. In 1976 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, E.Tashmuhamedov participated in the First Pharmaceutical First Congress with a lecture on “Pharmaceutical Development in Uzbekistan in the Ninth Five Years”.
Erkin Rakhimovich Tashmukhamedov successfully defended his doctoral dissertation at the Kharkov Pharmaceutical Institute in 1985 to obtain a PhD degree in Pharmacy on the theme: “Improving the work of drug users in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan”. His scientific works are devoted to the issues of improving the supply of drugs to the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan and health facilities.
In 1986-1988 she worked as a Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute.
From 1988 to 1991, he worked as a rector of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, paying special attention to improving the material-technical base of the institute, training of scientific and pedagogical staff, the introduction of the results of scientific researches into the national economy.
From 1998 to 2009 she was the leading teacher of the department as a professor of the department.
E.Tashmuhamedov has been working as a doctor and professor of the first pharmaceutical sciences in the Central Asian republics in the field of pharmaceutical business, and has spent his education in the field of pharmacy, his experience, and the development of gifted scientific pedagogical cadres. Under his leadership, he defended 12 candidate dissertations and one doctoral dissertation. At the same time, thanks to the assistance and consultations of E.Tashmuhamedov, 10 candidate dissertations were defended. The research work of schoolchildren is designed primarily to improve the delivery of medicines to the population and healthcare facilities in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan.
Prof. E.Tashmuhamedov’s students have developed and implemented the mechanism of replenishment of the pharmaceutical market of the Central Asian republics with essential medicines. Prof. E.Tashmuhamedov worked as the leading consultant of Farmed company, which provides quality and vital medicines to more than 2000 pharmacies and medical facilities of our republic.

More than 280 scientific articles, 10 textbooks, 4 monographs, 3 pharmaceutical articles, and more than 40 teaching-methodical works, reflected in the textbooks on economic subjects by ERToshmuhamedov. including 7 manuals, and applied to the educational process.
E.Tashmuhamedov during his activity carried out scientific and pedagogical work closely and closely with the administrative and public affairs. He has been a member of the Editorial Board of the Pharmacy for many years, a member of the Union of Scientific Pharmaceuticals of the Union, a member of the Commission on the Problems of the Scientific Basis of the Council of the Ministry of Health of the United States, member of the board of the “Pharmacy Department” under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, member of the editorial board of “Association of scientific pharmaceuticals of Uzbekistan”, member of editorial board of the magazine “Pharmacy”, editorial board of “Chemistry and Pharmacy” magazine, Tashkent Pharmaceutical has been working as a member of the Specialized Council for the Protection of Insurance Works and is a participant of more than 30 Congress of Commonwealth Pharmacists.
Tashmukhamedov’s work has been honored by the state as “Honorable labor”, “For example, in labor”, “Honorable nurse” and honorary title “Honored Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan” is given.
Associate Professor Zakharov Vladimir Alekseyevich – was born in 1924. In 1944 graduated from the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. From 1953 to 1957 he worked at the department of pharmaceutical business and economy. In 1961 he graduated from Moscow State University, and in 1963 defended his candidate dissertation on “Sostoyaniya i perspektiva lekarstvennogo obespecheniya naseleniya golodnoy stepi Uz SSR”. From 1961 to 1965 worked as an assistant professor, from 1968 to 1974 worked as an assistant professor. From 1974 to 1979 he worked as the head of the department. From 1958 to 1983 he has published more than 50 scientific works and educational-methodical insects. Head of the Department of the organization of pharmaceutical business of the Faculty of Advanced Training of Professionals (1985-1989). He has two Candidate of Pharmacy. He was awarded the badge “Healthcare Worker”, “Za doblestniy trud” and “Za tudovoe otlichie” medals.
In 1987 he was awarded the title of Honored Worker of Health of the Uzbek SSR. For many years he worked as the head of the Institute Trade Union.

Erkin Nazarovich Jo’rayev was born on November 16, 1936. In 1953 he graduated from high school, where he entered the medical faculty of Tashkent Medical Institute named after Yuldash Akhunboyev. After graduating from the university, he began his labor activity in 1956 in a pharmacy in Ishtixon district, Samarkand Oblast. There he worked as a pharmacist, pharmacist.
During that time, he graduated from Tashkent Institute of Dermatology and graduated it. In 1962 he worked as the head of the pharmacy of the Tashkent pharmacy № 14.
Since 1964, he has been the head of the Republican Pharmacy Department.
E.N. Jo’rayev worked as head of the Department of Pharmacy in the Republic until 1979. Then in 1979-1981 he worked as a vice-rector on educational work at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute and at the same time head of the department.
E.N. Jo’rayev worked as Head of Pharmaceutical Service in Central Asia Railway Department in 1981-1983, and then Head of the Central Pharmacy of Shaykhantakhur district of Tashkent.
EJ Djurayev has gained independence in Uzbekistan and has been operating in the pharmaceutical sector of the republic since the beginning of the reforms since 1991, and has been operating effectively for many years, creating “Ibn Sino” manufacturing company.

Associate Professor Rahim Zakirovich Ziyaev was born in 1933. In 1957, after graduating from the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute with honors, he worked as an assistant at the Department of the organization of pharmaceutical business of the Institute after one year of practical work in the pharmacy in Denov, Surkhandarya region, and in 1965-1968 passed the postgraduate study of this department. In 1970 he defended PhD thesis at Tatu University’s Scientific Council, from 1971 to 1980 worked as senior lecturer and assistant professor in 1980. His research paper on the topic “Changing the Medicinal Products in Herbal Medicine in Uzbekistan’s Pharmaceutical Institutions” was put into practice at the State Pharmaceutical Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Rahim Zakirovich worked as the head of the production of students in the educational department in 1971-1976, deputy dean of the faculty of pharmaceutical faculty in 1977-1982, and in 1982-1987 – head of the department of FITQI.

In 1991-1995 he actively participated in the organization of the Faculty of Pharmacy and was appointed as dean.
In 1995-2005, he was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Improvement. Rahim Zakirovich worked as a docent of the Faculty of Pharmacy in 2005-2008, at the Faculty of Advanced Training, in establishing and approving curricula and programs in several areas for the high level of teaching, the introduction of new pedagogical technologies in the process of organizing the distance education system.
Rahim Zakirovich published about 130 scientific articles, about 30 teaching aids in Uzbek and Russian, published in the Uzbek language of the textbook “Organization of pharmacy work” for students of Pharmacy Department of Medical School. , author of the “Pharmacy Economics” for the creation of the Practice and made a worthy contribution to the development of pharmaceutical science.
Ziyayev R.Z. has solved the modern problems of pharmaceutical business in scientific activity and contributed greatly to the development of the pharmaceutical industry in our country. The results of these researches are explicitly published in the magazines published in our country. Rakhim Zakirovich has actively participated in the development of a number of regulatory documents for the Dori-Darmon Business Association in Uzbekistan, such as “Drug Stores Charter”, “Drug Store Regulations” and “Practice of Good Pharmacy”, and these documents have been successfully implemented. At the same time, 8 methodological recommendations aimed at improving various aspects of pharmaceutical activity have been implemented in the healthcare practice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Rahim Zakirovich has long been a successful associate of the main activity in public affairs, the Deputy Chairman of the Tashkent City Pharmaceuticals Association, the First and the Fourth Congress of the Allied Pharmacists, and as a delegate of the I – IV Pharmaceuticals Congress in Uzbekistan.
The government has repeatedly been awarded the Honorary Titles of Rahim Zakirovich’s “Excellent Healthcare Worker”, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Uzbekistan from the Ministry of Health and Higher Education.
Rajabov Mohir Toirovich – was born in 1937 in Tashkent. In 1963 graduated from Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. From 1963 to 1965, he worked in pharmacy and pharmacy administration. In 1965, he started to work at the Department of Pharmaceutical Study and Economics of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. From 1967 to 1971 he studied at the postgraduate course of the Moscow Medical Academy named after I. Shchechenov. In 1971, he defended his Ph.D. dissertation on the topic: “Sostoyanie i prospepiviv razvitiya lekarstvennogo obslujivaniya naseleniya gorodov O’zbekiston”. In 1973 he worked as a senior teacher of the department, and in 1983 worked as a docent of the department. He has been working in Moscow, Kiev. Chairman of the Trade Union of the Institute, Chairman of the Election Commission, Chairman of the Teaching Committee on Pharmacy Department of Surkhandarya Region, Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Society of Pharmacists, Member of the Tashkent Pharmaceuticals Association. From 1990 to 1994 he worked as the head of the FITQ department of the Faculty of Provision of Professional Skills. He is the author of more than 40 scientific and educational-methodical manuals. He died in 1996.
Hikmatilla Sunnatovich Zaynutdinov was born on February 20, 1956. In 1974 entered Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute and in 1979 graduated with honors. This year he was employed as a trainee at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. In 1982 he worked as an assistant of the department of toxicological chemistry and in 1988 he defended his dissertation. In 1990 he entered the Moscow Medical Academy named after I. Sh.Sechenov and entered doctoral dissertation. In November 1992 he defended his doctoral dissertation. In 1993, he began his career as a senior research fellow at the Central Research Laboratory of Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. Prior to that, he worked as an associate professor of Toxicological Chemistry Department. From September 1994 to August 1998 he was the Head of the Department of Toxicological Chemistry and from August 1998 to September 2011 worked as Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Work.

X.S. Zainutdinov is the author of more than 150 articles and 7 textbooks and more than 50 educational and methodical works. He has published 52 scientific articles and 30 teaching materials in the last three years. more than 30 publications in foreign media (Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russian Federation, Turkey, Czech Republic).
X.S. Under the leadership of Zainutdinov prepared 15.00.02 – Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy specialty 1, 15.00.02 – 5 Candidates of Science in Technology of Drug Technology and Pharmaceutical Business. Currently, he has 5 doctoral and 3 master dissertations is leading.
X.S. Zainutdinov conducts lectures and practical exercises for students, masters and trainees at high scientific and methodological levels, introduces new innovative technologies in the educational process, introduces the achievements of pharmaceutical science, and trains young scientists as a co-founder of scientific and pedagogical staff. focusing on their knowledge and experience, and constantly improving their professional capacities.
He made a great contribution to the development of Pharmaceutical Education for the first State Standards of Education, vocational guidance, model and work curricula, and subsequent generational certificate development, as well as the national standard of pharmacy practice. At the same time, he actively participated in the creation and dissemination of electronic educational information resources in the public information and educational network ZiyoNET, improving the web site of the Institute and opening the site http://fitq.zn.uz, Planet “won the second place in 2008 and 2009.

X.S. Zainutdinov was awarded the honorary title of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan for her selfless work on public health and her contribution to the promotion of Uzbek medicine.
