History of the department.

The Department of Analytical Chemistry was founded in 1937. In 1945-1957, the department was headed by Professor M.A. Azizov. From 1975 to 1977, the head of the department was docent M.A. Abramov, from 1978-1985 docent M.Kh. Alawiya, from 1985 to 2000, the department is professor A.A. Shabilalov. Docent S.D. Nasriddinov was appointed head of the department in 2000–2002, he was also appointed head of the department from 2002–2005, and in September 2005, due to the expansion of the departments, he was transferred to the department’s Inorganic, Physical and Colloid Chemistry Department analytical chemistry. In 2018, the department of “Analytical Chemistry” came out of the department of  “Inorganic, physical and colloidal chemistry.”  Docent M. Fatkhullayeva was appointed as the head of the department.

The scientific work of the department open M.A. Azizovs were always in demand. Under his leadership, serious scientific studies have been carried out on the synthesis of complex compounds of microelements with biologically active substances and their physicochemical and biological properties. For the first time in 1958, a coamide preparation was developed for a class of coordination compounds, recommended for use in diseases with a low level of bodily diseases, and began to be produced at the Tashkent Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant. The results were found Azizov. Later, Azizov’s monograph “Some combinations of microelements with biologically active substances” was published.

In 1974, at the Department of Analytical Chemistry in order to improve these studies, M.A.Azizov worked on laboratory issues, and later, in 1981, the institute was granted the status of a central research laboratory. By the 1980s, more than 500 compounds had been synthesized. As a result of studying their biomedical properties, more than 100 doctoral and master’s theses were defended. About 20 drugs were recommended for use in medical practice for anemia, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, hepatitis, as well as the productivity of livestock and animal husbandry in agriculture. Of these, 12 were issued copyright certificates. The drug Ceramid was produced in Khabarovsk and the Tashkent Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant. Preparations of cobalt-30 and copper are allowed in the industry.

The department successfully conducted research on the theme “Synthesis and study of coordination compounds of 3-d metals with biologically active ligands”. One doctoral and four candidate dissertations are protected. Industrial production of pharmaceutical forms of pyracines, cupira and ferask has been established.

The Department of Analytical Chemistry, formed by order of the Rector of the Institute in August 2018, began to work in the following composition: Head of Department, c.ch.s., docent M.Fatkhullayeva, Professor A.A. Employees of the department are guided by educational and methodical and scientific research on the basis of the National Training Program, orders of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, the Academic Council and the administration.

The development of the department on basic teaching and learning, scientific, spiritual and pedagogical personnel began after the independence of Uzbekistan. Since then, the department conducts research in two directions: firstly, the production of medicines based on local organic raw materials, and secondly, based on vital trace elements and biofuel ligands. The department has achieved high results in both directions. First of all, she took an active part in competitions of the Committee for the Coordination of Development of Science and Technology under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, allocated grants to the institute on the basis of economic contracts, professors and talented youth of the department were involved in scientific work. The department also actively participated in technology fairs with innovative ideas, entered into partnership agreements with corporations, found manufacturers. The focus is on the learning process. All disciplines are indicated in new textbooks, teaching aids, methodological manuals have been created, an interactive system of training, modernization of the educational process, and educational-methodical complexes have been carried out. Honored Scientist of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Chemical sciences, Professor Azizov Mannon Azizovich headed the Department of Analytical Chemistry in 1945-1975 (30 years). He is the founder of the School for the Creation of Coordinating Associations Based on Biofuel Ligands and 3d-metals.

Achievements of the department at the moment Fatkhullaeva Muyassar – In 1987 she graduated from Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek) with a degree in chemistry. She began her career at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. In 1987-1989 she worked as an assistant at the department of analytical chemistry, from 1989 to 1999 she worked as an assistant, and from 1999 to 2008 she worked as a senior teacher. In 2007 she defended her thesis on the specialty – inorganic chemistry. Since 2010, he has been working as a docent, since 2010 – as a docent  in the department of inorganic, analytical, physical and colloid chemistry. M. Fatkhullaeva is the author of 15 educational–methodical manuals, more than 60 scientific articles and theses. M.Fathullaeva actively participates in public and spiritual affairs. She is a member of the Institute of Quality Control Institute, a representative of the State Testing Center and has been training groups for several years. A meeting of the Department of Analytical Chemistry and the Department of Inorganic, Physical and Colloidal Chemistry was organized at a meeting of the Tashkent Scientific Council of the Institute of Pharmacy on August 23, 2005, where a new department was created which was named “Inorganic, Analytical, Physical and Colloidal Chemistry”, in accordance with the decision of the Scientific Council Department of Inorganic, Analytical, Physico-Chemical and Colloidal Chemistry of September 5, 2005 Order No. 113. Since the 1980s, the department conducted research on the topic “The use of surfactants in medicine and other sectors of the national economy.” Further, this topic was followed by the “Synthesis of new surfactants to control the colloidal chemical and technological parameters of pharmaceutical systems”. This direction was carried out together with specialized departments.

For the period of Independence, on the initiative of the department, a small enterprise “Hakim” was created at the institute, the production of the “Mummy 0.1 package” began. The company operated in 1994-1997.

In 1987, Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek) graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemists with teachers of the specialty. He began his career at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. In 1987-1989 he worked as an assistant at the department of analytical chemistry, from 1989 to 1999 he worked as an assistant, and from 1999 to 2008 he worked as a senior teacher. A. Shabilalov graduated from the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute in 1964 with honors and received a trainee research degree at the Department of Analytical Chemistry. He worked as an assistant, senior researcher, head of production, head of the department, vice-rector for scientific work and dean of the institute. In 1972 candidate thesis on the topic “Cobalt and its derivatives of various ions with hydrazides, amides and some amino acids of heterocyclic acids”, and in 1992 in the “3d-metal” some B vitamins, their isomers and their derivatives. coordination chemistry of biodiversity (synthesis, structure, properties, use) “. In 1993 he was awarded the title of professor. Under his leadership, he prepared four candidates of science. Born in the academic school of MA Azizova, A.A. Shabilalov, is currently considered one of the nuns of the scientific school of coordinating connections in Uzbekistan. He is the author of over 200 scientific works, including 2 textbooks, 7 educational–methodical manuals and 3 educational programs and 20 inventions. Co-authored the textbook “Analytical Chemistry” was awarded in 2009 in the republican competition “The Best Book and Teacher of the Year” diploma of I degree. Its hypolipidemic and anti-sclerotic drug “Piracin” is widely used in medical practice and is produced on an industrial scale. A.A. Shabilalov worked at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute in 1978-1985. In 1992 she graduated from Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek) with a degree in Chemistry. She began her career at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. From 1985 to 1986 she worked as a junior laboratory assistant at the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Microbiology of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. In 1986-1989 – junior laboratory assistant of the Central Research Laboratory, in 1990-1996 – senior laboratory assistant, in 1997-2002 – Junior Researcher of the Central Scientific Research Laboratory. In 2009, he graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Tashkent Pedagogical Institute. In 2011 he graduated from the magistracy of the chemical department of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek. From 2012 to 2013, he worked as an intern researcher at the chemical faculty of the National University of Uzbekistan, in 2014 as a senior researcher, and in 2015 he was accepted as an assistant at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. During the year, professors and teachers of the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute conduct work in the direction of spiritual and educational work:
