Department of Inorganic, physical and colloidal chemistry at the International scientific and practical seminar
On November 24, 2020, an international scientific and practical seminar was held between the department of Inorganic, physical and colloidal chemistry of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute and Chungbuk National University (Republic of Korea), which it organized in an online format on the topic “Topical issues in the development of drugs for the prevention and treatment of diabetes.”
It was noted at the seminar that the presence of diabetes in patients with the highest number of deaths due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the development of drugs against it is one of the urgent problems of the modern world. Department’s staff were especially interested in the research and presentations of Professor Hwan Soo Yoo in this direction.
At the end of the seminar, Uzbek and Korean scientists agreed to conduct joint research to solve this problem.
