For the first time in Uzbekistan, the project “International Summer School” was held at a high level for students of medical universities. This summer school, organized on the initiative of the Andijan State Medical Institute, was attended by students of medical schools in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The main goal of the school was to increase the activity of young people in the ongoing reforms in the country, the formation of medical culture, acquaintance with the latest trends in medicine and pharmaceuticals, the creation of mutually beneficial partnership, exchange of views. Lectures of professors and teachers of the Institute on first aid, the principles of a healthy lifestyle, the role of Ibn Sina in teaching and medicine and the protection of young people from bad habits, master classes, roundtables.
During the summer school, guests were warmly welcomed by the unique climate of the recreation parks of Khanabad and Bogishamol of Andijan region, ornamental trees and the warm hospitality of Andijan residents. Meanwhile, the festival of national dishes, which was prepared by students from around the world, was in a special sensation.
At these events, young people spoke fluent English. Two talented students of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute participated in this school in the 4th year student Kamola Narzikulova and 2nd year student Mansurov Azamat.
Students were examined to assess the knowledge gained, and students of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute noted high results.
Students who took part in the summer school and won prizes were awarded diplomas, certificates and memorable gifts from the rector of the ASMI, Professor M. Madazimov.
