For the first time, there was a videoconference between the Tashkent pharmaceutical institute and the St.Petersburg State university of chemical-pharmaceuticals

On April 25, 2019, for the first time, there was a videoconference between the Tashkent pharmaceutical institute and the St.Petersburg State university of chemical-pharmaceuticals. The meeting was attended by the rectors, vice-rectors, and heads of departments of higher educational institutions of  both countries. The agenda addressed and discussed issues of admission of applicants and student training at the joint faculty of Pharmacy, founded according to the international Memorandum signed in october-november 2018.

In addition, the tasks required for the continuation and development of international cooperation were considered, such as discussing model programs for training students in a joint-faculty 1-course according to a harmonized curriculum approved by all relevant institutions; joint development of textbooks by university staff of the two countries; publication of scientific articles and theses by faculty members in the pharmaceutical journals of both countries; internships and lectures on a specific course (cycle) for teachers in both countries; regular exchange of students in the framework of academic mobility for the passage of study, training, industrial and pre-diploma practices, etc.
