Training and seminar, which was held at the Tashkent Republican Dental Institute together with the directors of Elsevier
On the basis of PP-2909 from 04/20/2017 “On measures for further development of the higher education system”, PP-3532 of February 14, “On additional measures to accelerate the development of the pharmaceutical industry”, and PP-3151 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 20, 2017, PP-2909 “On measures for further development higher education systems ”, as well as PP-2956“ On measures for further reforming the medical education system in the Republic of Uzbekistan ”, Sultanova R.Kh., Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy attended the Tashkent Republican Dental Institute jointly with the directors of the Elsevier company: Elsevier regional director Igor A. Nikitin, director of Elsevier Europe Jamie Elson and Lais Junqueira who conducted a training seminar for the most active users of the CinicalKey system.
The Elsevier ClinicalKey platform is one of the world’s leading evidence-based medical card providers. Regional Director Igor Nikitin visited our city on February 4-6 of this year. According to the created memorandum, 100 doctors of science for the high-quality training of doctors in medicine were included in the CinicalKey system platform opened in Uzbekistan.
On April 15, 2019, the most active users of the platform were selected by foreign experts from 100 doctors who had free access to this system, director of Elsevier Europe Jamie Elson and Lais Junqueira, director of patient safety at Elsevier, who conducted special seminars and trainings on features, precise aspects and key aspects. In these seminars and trainings, the most active doctors received answers to many questions that interest them for the further development of medicine and pharmacy.
Member of the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute Sultanova R.Kh. was able to use the system CinicalKey, participated in lectures and trainings on the importance and accessibility of the system. Thanks to this training system, this allows you to receive clinical information from any device at any time and use it in the educational process. After all, correct and proven medicine allows students of the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute to develop scientific potential. It is also useful to compare the data of this system with the research of new drugs.
During the visit in the afternoon, an open dialogue was also held with the director of Elsevier Europe, Jamie Elson and Lais Junqueira, who held a seminar. Doctors, researchers and medical graduate students received answers to their questions, provided enough information on how to use the platform, how to use it and what its advantages are.
