Japan announces international competition among young people for the best essay

The Goi Peace Foundation of Japan, with the assistance of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan and the National Commission for UNESCO, announces an international competition for the best essay on “Creating a Society Full of Kindness” among young people. The purpose of the competition is to present the opportunities of the youth to talk about their ideas, creativity and initiative to promote peace and sustainable development. Schoolchildren (up to 14 years old) and young people (15-25 years old) can participate in the competition with the submission of their essay (up to 700 words) on this topic in one of 5 languages (English, French, Spanish, German or Japanese).

The main prize of the competition: 100 thousand yen (about $ 900) and a trip to Japan to participate in the award ceremony on October 31, 2019.
