Another step to the future
On April 1, 2019, at the Ministry of health of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Minister of health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Professor A. Shodmonov . At this meeting the ceremony of signing the Memorandum on mutual scientific and technical cooperation of the Turkish delegation led by rector of Turkish University of medical Sciences Professor, Dr. Jawdat Erdol with a number of leading medical universities of the Republic, Tashkent medical Academy, Tashkent pediatric medical Institute, Tashkent pharmaceutical Institute, Tashkent Institute of advanced training of doctors and Samarkand state medical University. The ceremony was attended by the rector of the Tashkent pharmaceutical Institute Professor I. Alimdlanov and Vice-rector for research and innovation N. S.Normakhamatov. The Memorandum of cooperation includes such issues as mutual academic exchange of scientific and educational goals, as well as research work, development of training programs, cooperation in the framework of continuous educational and other training programs, organization of symposia, international conferences and seminars, the establishment of joint and bilateral diploma programs, training of students and teachers, exchange of researchers in the medical field.
For reference: Istanbul University of medical Sciences, the only specialized medical University in Turkey and one of the leading educational institutions in Europe. The University was founded in 1903. Currently, Istanbul University of medical Sciences has 7 faculties, 2 Institutes, 2 medical schools and 1 school. Currently, the University has more than 5.4 thousand students.
