Republic of Latvia announces the Scholarship program!
The Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in Tashkent announces the Scholarship program for foreign citizens by the government of the Republic of Latvia to study and conduct research, as well as participate in summer schools in the 2019-2020 academic year.
Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies are provided for one academic year – up to 10 months (for graduate students up to 11 months)
The scholarship for master’s degree programs in Latvian philology, Latvian literature, Latvian culture and Latvian history can be granted for two academic years, that is, for the period of study of master’s program. The size of the Latvian state scholarship for training is:
-for undergraduate and graduate students -500 euros per month;
– for graduate students – 670 euros per month.
Only academic and scientific personnel of foreign higher educational institutions and research institutions are eligible to apply for participation in the Latvian State Research Fellowship. Scholarship for research is available for up to 5 months.
It also provides 10 state scholarships for participation in summer schools. The size of the Latvian scholarship provided by the State Agency for the Development of Education of Latvia for the summer school is 711 euros per person for the entire summer school.
