“Book café” opened in Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute
On February 18, 2019, the recently renovated “Book café” was put into operation at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. The first working day of the book cafe was opened by the rector of the institute Ibrahim Inamovich Alimdjanov. Professor A. Shabilov spoke at the opening ceremony and spoke about the large-scale research conducted at the institute. Chairman of the Women’s Committee of the Institute Boltaeva B.Kh. shared her impressions about the conditions provided for students. The ceremony continued with students’ performances.
The open book cafe has all the conditions for students to increase their interest in reading books and developing culture. Book cafe is a great opportunity for students to read their favorite books in their free time, as well as to find and use electronic versions of free books over Wi-Fi. One of the advantages is that students can enjoy coffee, various sweets and dishes.
