We all know that in a modern, fast-growing society, every person needs to be aware of and be on guard against any changes that are taking place around us. Studies have shown that in the development of society there are some negative aspects that are a huge obstacle to the economic growth and development of the state, the formation of a free civil society.
Corruption is one such factor. Corruption undermines the foundations of democracy and the rule of law in societies, which leads to the violation of human rights, the quality of life and the creation of conditions for the emergence and development of organized crime, terrorism and other phenomena that threaten human security. In order to prevent similar incidents in our country, a legal mechanism was created to fight against corruption. That is, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On struggling against Corruption” was adopted. The law consists of 6 chapters, 34 articles regulating relations in the field of fighting corruption in Uzbekistan. Participants of the event also touched upon the essence and significance of reforms, decrees of the President of the country, measures to prevent corruption in the education system and paid special attention to the provision of relevant information.
200 professors and teachers took part in the event.
